COOL VIBES

I have not been too well lately and hence couldn't really think of going out for a shoot..and with my husband's schedule being such where he would be out of town any moment now,we wanted to make the most of our time shooting from house.
The combination of blue and white does quite a bang up job when you are trying to make a statement with almost little or no colour. Skirts have been my favorite this summer..i think i have purchased them in almost all colours and lengths by now.The fashion world still doping in the 70's, Midi skirts have made a major comeback. I picked up this white skirt from Forever 21.There are various ways i could dress up this skirt but keeping it simple i decided to wear it with a blue striped shirt and a statement neckpiece. So is this look a yay or a nay with you guys and also let me know how you are making the 70's a part of your wardrobe.

SLITTED FLORALS

My fondness for floral keeps growing more when feminine pieces like these rule the fashion world.Of late the combination of trousers/denims along with maxi dresses has been all the rage.A high slit maxi along with skinnies are not only super wearable but immensely fashionable that can take you from day to night. My inclination towards this fad kept increasing until i found the ideal piece which served aptly for my love towards floral and black.
Complimenting this alluring dress are my cropped pants, black pumps along with the trend setting sunnies.Hoping that this inspires you to style the slitted maxi in each of your unique way.

NOT A VERY BAD HAIR DAY

Everyone has a Bad hair day..i mean it is unreasonable to ask your hair to co-operate with you every single day in this messy monsoon..and i had always heard that headband on a bad hair day can save you.It was truly proved when i wore it on a very rainy day here in Delhi when my hair was all going crazy and frizzy. No matter whatever i tried,it ended up looking ridiculous until this Bandana hairband came to my rescue.I think i am going to use more of these in the coming days :)
